If your watch needs servicing, we are the people to contact — we are your first choice of watchmaker. We repair and restore mechanical watches and timepieces of all brands, sizes, and eras.

The art of mechanical timekeeping

What was once considered high technology has become a cultural asset. Watchmaking was one of the driving forces behind technological progress. In our workshops, we preserve masterpieces from past eras for future generations.

Restoration of antique clocks

We take great care of your old treasures, restoring them to their former glory with meticulous attention to detail. We can also restore the dial and clock case or housing upon request, ensuring that both the movement and the appearance are just right.

Repair of watches from renowned brands

If your favourite watch needs servicing, you’ve come to the right place. Whether it’s a Rolex, an Omega or another well-known brand, your watch will be in good hands with us. If you’re looking for a new watch, you might find what you’re looking for at juwelier-poehn.at.

Spare parts for older watches

We manufacture replacement parts for those that are missing or beyond repair. Clock and Watch repairs often fail because spare parts are no longer available, but not with us! Thanks to our extensive experience and range of machinery, we can manufacture almost any spare part you need for your watch or clock.

The art and craft of watchmaking through the ages

Our machinery spans several centuries and ranges from 19th-century hand-operated machines to modern CNC-controlled machines. Er reicht von handbetriebenen Maschinen des 19. Jahrhunderts bis hin zu CNC-gesteuerten Maschinen der Gegenwart. Master craftsmen use these to produce not only spare parts for high-quality watches, but also unique, bespoke pieces: handmade clocks and watches tailored to customers’ specifications.

The Legacy of the Horologists

The Legacy of the Horologists

When the first horologist settled on the banks of the Thaya River around 1680, he laid the foundation stone for the Waldviertel watch industry. The K.K. Fachschule für Uhrenindustrie in Karlstein (K.K. Technical College for the Watch Industry in Karlstein), founded in 1873, and the numerous watch museums in the area are testament to the region’s rich past. We are now the last remaining watch manufacturer in the land of horologists.

MANUFACTURE OF GUILLOCHÉ

Guilloché dials and watch components

The art of guilloché is almost forgotten. However, we continue to celebrate it using machines that are up to 170 years old.

GEAR CUTTING

Manufacturing gears for mechanical watches

One of the company’s specialities is producing gears of various sizes and shapes for watches of all types and sizes.
